Hotel Daniela is also an excellent starting point for different trips. In fact, we are located on the way to the famous horse racing tracks of Merano-Maia,
the Ice Arena "Meranarena", as well as 10min by walk from the wonderful centre of Merano.

Here you will find some of Southtyrol's most beautiful hiking paths and excursions, as well as breathtaking fixed rope routes; untouched nature

Merano is also a land full of stories and secrets. A perfect place for castle-lovers: more than 80 castles are waiting to be discovered. Tirolo, Scena and Avelengo will impress visitors with their indescribable beauty including the wonderful world of the gardens of the castles of Trauttmansdorff.

Historical Merano, also has really a lot to offer: just think about the famous thermal baths, the Kurhaus, with the annual music weeks, the International Wine Festival and.. of course not to mention, the traditional Christmas market in december, the theater, museums and the overwhleming promenade along the Passiria river.

..and for our sporty guests, there are a lot of interesting activities: during winter months the best prepared pists of Merano 2000 attract thausends of skiers and snowboarders who will have an unforgettable holiday... Hockey instead can be considered as part of our tradition and is a very popular sport, exiting both, fans and supporters, especially during the championship.

For Golfplayers amongst you there are the 9-hole Golfclub of Lana (4km) or the beautiful Golf Club Passiria (12km).

Summermonths are characterized by music and tradition. Experience different events and don't miss the great "Fest der Musikkapellen" -  discover traditional clothing and try deliciuous typical Tyrolean dishes. So.. what are you waiting for?
